Introduction

ShopLocker plugin allows you to lock all storefront routes for a configurable amount of time, thus putting the store on hold. The admin and store api routes remain available.

Configuration and Basic Settings:

The plugin has only two fields for configuration. These are the start time and end time of store locking.

Functionality:

If store inactivity is set in the plugin settings, all storefront routes will be redirected to the /shop-locker page with a corresponding notification.

Use case:

This plugin can be useful if the store has resource-intensive data imports or exports on a daily basis, which can cause the site to become overloaded and partially unavailable. In this case, it makes sense to limit the unavailability of the store to, say, one until two in the morning, and to perform all energy-intensive operations during this window, without causing unnecessary inconvenience to the store's visitors.
