Introduction

The ProductActivityManager plugin revolutionises product activity management in Shopware by introducing a robust system for setting activation and deactivation times for each product.

This feature provides automatic activation and deactivation of products based on predefined parameters of desired product activity times, giving shop administrators unprecedented control over product activity.

Configuration and Basic Settings:

Once installed, the plugin integrates seamlessly into the Shopware backend, providing a user-friendly interface for managing product activation and deactivation dates. Each product now has dedicated fields for setting these dates.

Functionality:

1. All products are checked for date fields are populated using a console command (CronJob) or admin worker at each user-defined interval.


2. The activity of each product changes according to the desired activation and deactivation date settings.

Use case:

This plugin can be useful if you work with a large number of products and some of them should only be active for a certain period of time, for example seasonal offers. In this case, all you need to do is set the desired activation and deactivation dates when creating a product, and the plugin will do the rest.
